For most applications, spray the ready-to-use product directly on the source of the odor or pet stain. Keep the sprayed area wet for at least twenty minutes for most odors and light stains. For heavy stains, repeat the procedure after twenty minutes, and then keep the area moist for 12 hours. In these cases it is best to put a wet rag over the sprayed area for the whole time. The rag will absorb the odor and stain leaving the sprayed area clean and fresh smelling. Do not use on any fabric that cannot be cleaned in water. Test a small area first to be sure the fabric is colorfast. For pet "accidents" remove any solid material and follow the above instructions.
